A Jubilant June!

Greetings Dear Readers,

Welcome to our July blog!
We are proud to announce that Cheery Lynn is now complete!
June was packed with milestones, finishing touches, and finally reaching that long-awaited finish line. Our team’s hard work and dedication truly paid off, and we are so grateful for all the support and enthusiasm we’ve received over the course of this project. From start to finish, we appreciate everyone who has taken part in this journey!

Beginning with the stunning work of our talented craftsman, Gerardo, whose attention to detail in staining the fluted panel for the powder room is simply unparalleled. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we finally selected the perfect one after reviewing countless samples. The fluted paneling looks amazing, and the addition of the Roman clay Gerardo applied has exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with how beautifully it all turned out!

Antonio demonstrated the patience of a saint while hanging the great room chandelier! I’ve learned that while it’s important to consider the recommended height for a chandelier, in practice, I’ve never hung one at the same height in any of our houses. It’s essential to be present and adjust the height to fit the specific space.

Many, many hours were put in by Scott to get the cabinets installed just right, and we were thankful to have his level of expertise on the job. We put him to the test on a few different issues and he passed with flying colors every time!

It wasn’t easy, but Hector and his team took great care with installing the delicate beveled glass in the coffee/bar station, and boy was it worth it! I love seeing it all come together! When the bar rail hardware is installed, it will finish it off beautifully.

Staging truly helps future homeowners envision how each space can be utilized, and according to the National Association of Realtors, 86% of buyers have reported being able to better visualize their future home when it is. It’s always a whirlwind of excitement to reach this ‘stage’ 🤣🤩🤣 and we couldn’t ask for a better team to accomplish it!

Shifting our focus to landscaping, we must take a moment to recognize the incredible efforts of our crew. The sweltering Arizona heat is no joke, and these rock stars have worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life. Adrian, always wearing a smile, smartly uses a tent to shield himself from the blazing summer sun. Their hard work and dedication are truly admirable, and we’re grateful for their commitment to making the outdoor space as beautiful as the interior.

One of the standout features of this project is the seamless integration of the pool pavers into the covered patio area. This design choice creates a clean look, which is both functional and visually appealing. We’re excited for the new homeowners to enjoy this seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. Speaking of which, with the successful completion of our final inspection, we were excited to move on to the next phase: the installation of the Pebble Tec interior for the pool! This is a significant milestone that will not only enhance the appearance of the pool, but also provide a durable and luxurious surface for many years of enjoyment.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some of our favorite interior design elements. The custom island legs and range hood in the kitchen, along with the fluted fireplace and its bespoke surround, come together to create a harmonious and sophisticated aesthetic. These features truly highlight the exceptional craftsmanship that defines each of our projects.

The glass cabinets flanking the range add a level of sophistication to the ambiance, while the in-cabinetry lighting casts a warm, inviting glow throughout the kitchen space. Tucked around the corner is our coffee/bar station, which we think is a real show stopper! With its beveled glass backing and underlit custom floating shelves, we just love how these turned out!

We kept the laundry light and bright, including a designated space for an overflow refrigerator, or as my husband calls it, our “Costco fridge”. In keeping with the light and bright theme, we added windows to the primary closet. Natural light really opens up the space and makes it feel welcoming. It’s a simple way to add a refreshing and airy vibe, making your closet a cozy spot to get ready each day!

Our primary bath was designed with luxury and relaxation in mind. I love the fluting detail on the tub, which pulls from the fireplace in the great room- it’s all in the details!

In our powder room, we injected fun and creativity with unique details like a custom backsplash, stained fluted paneling, and moody navy blue Roman clay walls. A whimsical pendant light adds personality and charm, serving as more than just illumination. The lighting acts like jewelry, enhancing the design and adding a touch of elegance.
